Our Story

Union for Agricultural Development Slaughtering was established in the 1980s by Mr. Haidar Ali Al-Amaireh who believed in the necessity of making available a local product to fill the shortage in broiler chicken, provide a product distinguished by high quality within the specifications and standards, and spare the importation of frozen chicken. The establishment then acquired a complete chain for broiler chicken production, as the establishment has a set of various projects including mother chicken farms, hatcheries, broiler farms, feed factories, poultry slaughterhouses, and a laboratory, where the state-of-the-art quality control systems are applied under health supervision by veterinarians and agricultural engineers within the international specifications and standards, all of which aim at providing high-quality fresh poultry to the Jordanian consumer.

The Union for Agricultural Development and Slaughterhouses understands its context by identifying external and internal issues that are relevant to its objectives and that affect its ability to achieve the target outcome(s) of its food safety management system. We achieve these objectives by:
- Commitment to developing and providing safe, high-quality products that meet or exceed customer requirements and comply with Jordan’s legal and regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to implementing the ISO 22000/2018 Food Safety Management System which complies with FSSC 22000 requirements, food safety operational methods and customer satisfaction as our primary goal.
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of our food safety management system and our commitment to customer satisfaction by monitoring our performance against our established goals, through leadership that enhances food safety efficiencies, and through internal and external communications.
